2. Gorilla Saves 3-year-old Boy

All the way back in 1996, a 3-year-old boy visiting Illinois’ Brookfield Zoo accidentally tipped over a railing and plummeted 18 feet into the gorilla enclosure. Thankfully for the kid, one of the exhibits’ gorillas not only rushed to the toddler’s rescue, she scooped the boy up in her arms and delivered him to anxious zookeepers for medical attention.
