4. Baiji

The Baiji is a freshwater dolphin found in the Yangtze River in China, and the last known living Baiji died in 2002. Since then, the World Wildlife Fund has called for the preservation of any Baiji that may be located in the sea. But as of now, the dolphin is considered to be extinct.
